"How has Grace Pointe Center positively impacted your life?"

"My name is Jennie Bivens and I want to share how Grace Pointe Center helped me when I needed it most. I struggled all my life with addiction

of various kinds. I wanted out but never seemed to get anywhere when I tried. The life I lived had left me homeless and without hope. Everywhere I looked for help would require funds that I didn't have and most places wouldn't accept me with a newborn baby. Grace Pointe Center not only funded my stay in treatment, but they also sat down with me and helped find the best treatment for me and my baby! I'm going on 4 years clean now and I thank God for this place and for all that God is doing through them."

- Jennie Bivens

Hello my name is Tony and this is a little bit of my story. I had just gotten out of prison after doing a 28 year sentence and not long after getting out, found myself homeless. I did find the love of my life along this journey. We were struggling from sleeping in the van to motel rooms. One day my girlfriend told me to check out Grace Pointe Center. I went to Grace Pointe and explained my situation. They were very understanding and very helpful. They got us a room for a couple days while we were in the process of finding a rental. They agreed that if we found a rental, they would help us. It took us almost 2 months to find a place for rent, but sure enough Grace Pointe Center came through and paid our deposit. They also helped us with furniture because we did not have anything to sit on at the time. After being in my new home for 2 weeks, I needed help with a deposit on lights and they also helped with that. If it wasn’t for the help and understanding from the ladies at Grace Pointe Center, my hard work, and most of all the good Lord above, I would not have been able to be where I am today.
